Return Policy

At Meddent, we want you to be completely satisfied with your dental materials and medical supplies. If you need to return a product, please review our return policy below.

Return Window

Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. After this period, we cannot accept returns except in cases of defective or damaged products.

Eligible for Return

Products can be returned if they meet ALL of the following conditions:

  • Unused and unopened in original packaging
  • All seals, labels, and protective coverings intact
  • No signs of damage, tampering, or use
  • Original invoice or proof of purchase included
  • Product not expired or within 6 months of expiry date
  • Return initiated within 7 days of delivery

Non-Returnable Items

Due to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used dental materials (composites, cements, bonding agents)
  • Sterilization and infection control products (once packaging is opened)
  • Disposable items with broken seals (gloves, masks, syringes)
  • Custom-made or special-order products
  • Products made to your specifications
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Digital downloads or electronic products
  • Perishable or time-sensitive materials

How to Return a Product

Follow these steps to initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us First: Email or call our support team within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide Information: Share your order number, product name, and reason for return
  3. Wait for Authorization: Our team will review and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number
  4. Pack Securely: Pack the product in original packaging with all accessories and documentation
  5. Include RA Number: Write the RA number clearly on the package
  6. Ship to Us: Send to the return address provided by our team
  7. Track Shipment: Keep your shipping receipt and tracking number

Important: Do not ship returns without obtaining a Return Authorization number first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

  • Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error or defective product
  • Shipping Method: Use a trackable shipping service and retain proof of shipment
  • Insurance: We recommend insuring high-value returns
  • Our Error/Defective: If we sent the wrong item or product is defective, we'll cover return shipping costs

Inspection & Processing

Once we receive your return:

  1. We'll inspect the product within 3-5 business days
  2. Verify it meets return eligibility criteria
  3. Send you an email notification of approval or rejection
  4. Process approved refunds within 7-10 business days

If a return is rejected, we'll contact you with the reason and options to have the product shipped back to you at your expense.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • Report Immediately: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide Photos: Send clear photos of the damage or defect
  • Keep Packaging: Retain all packaging materials for inspection
  • Fast Resolution: We'll arrange replacement or refund without requiring return in most cases
  • Free Shipping: Return shipping is free for damaged/defective items

Wrong Item Received

If we shipped the wrong product:

  • Contact us immediately with your order details
  • We'll arrange pickup or provide a prepaid return label
  • Correct item will be shipped on priority basis
  • No charges for return shipping or replacement

Bulk Order Returns

Special conditions apply for bulk or wholesale orders:

  • Contact our team before initiating any return
  • Restocking fee of 15-20% may apply
  • Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility
  • Minimum return value may apply
  • Custom packages may have different return terms

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you need a different product:

  1. Return the original product following our return process
  2. Once refund is processed, place a new order for the desired product
  3. For urgent needs, you can place the new order immediately and return the original separately

Refund Processing

After your return is approved:

  • Refund initiated within 7-10 business days
  • Refund issued to original payment method
  • Credit/debit cards: 7-10 business days to reflect
  • UPI/Net Banking: 5-7 business days
  • Store credit option available for faster processing
